At JP Music Academy, we understand that sometimes unforeseen circumstances prevent students from attending their scheduled lesson. If a student is unable to attend their lesson due to illness or a school activity, we offer two options for making up the missed lesson.

 

Online Make Up Lesson: Students can choose to make up their missed lesson by scheduling an online lesson with their instructor.

 

Holiday Program:

Alternatively, students can also choose to apply their missed lesson towards our holiday program, either online or at the studio. This option not only provides a fun and engaging way for students to catch up on their missed instruction time but also allows them to connect with other students and instructors in a group setting.

 

Please note that offering double lessons in school raises certain issues, such as missing an hour of lessons during the make-up week and additional administrative work for both our music school and the teaching staff at your school.

 

Effective immediately from Term 4 onwards, we kindly request all parents/guardians to fill out an online form stating the reason for absence and selecting one of the two options mentioned above. It is imperative that this form is completed before the student's scheduled lesson time.

 

We value each student's commitment to learning music and strive to provide every opportunity for them to make up any missed lessons without disrupting their progress. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to our make-up music lesson policy.
